Methodology

How the overall score is built.

Every institution's overall score is a weighted blend of four pillars. The weights are fixed and published, so the ranking can be checked, not just trusted.

35%

Research

Volume, income, and reputation of the institution's research output.

30%

Teaching

The learning environment: staff ratios, resources, and student outcomes.

20%

Industry

Knowledge transfer and the institution's links to employers and industry.

15%

Intl. Outlook

International students, staff, and cross-border research collaboration.

Overall = (Research × 0.35) + (Teaching × 0.30) + (Industry × 0.20) + (International Outlook × 0.15). This is a demonstration dataset with sample figures; the weighting model is illustrative of a transparent, reproducible ranking method.
